I was born in a cornfield, well in a corner of a field, in a house my father built, in England As a small boy I wandered as free as a bird, in the woods near our home

I missed some of the things I had in the UK, the forests of NZ are still quiet, the Maori had killed all the birds using the feathers for cloaks as there were no wild animals. Was not until white settlers arrived bringing deer, pig , goats that the forest had any animals in it at all but I used to wander up remote rivers, teaching myself to swim

I bought some second-hand antiquated SCUBA gear and jumped into the sea and nearly drowned,I dived most of my life.
I am pretty old fashioned, can be gregarious, know when not to open my mouth I think I am well-mannered and spoken,
I traveled 56 lands, alone which I would rather not do, but not been in Asia or South America
It has taken forever to like Australia Now I've come to love the rugged dry landscape and the animals that live there sometimes, I drive to places where there are no humans for 200km
