More About Me
Soooo, let's see. For starters I'm a foreigner who likes to bounce around the world from time to time (i.e., as much as possible). I say foreigner because I just don't see myself going back to Spain to live, so I'm always a foreigner. Good times! It's fun to be the elephant in the menagerie, you get the odd looks and knowing new people is a lot more fun and interesting - you get to know both the person and their culture. I speak English (obviously), Spanish and Portuguese - the latter, I'm told, with a noticeable Brazilian accent!
Since I work with computers, I do tend to use my computer to fill in free time, but I have other hobbies too. I read a lot, I write when the fancy strikes me (or I see a chance/competition/anthology that seems good to me), hoping to finish my first novel this year - and then the real fun will begin trying to get it published.
I'm also a pretty decent cook. Typically I cook Spanish food, it's what's most popular with my friends, but one of the reasons I like cooking is to explore new flavours and new recipes, so often I'll be cooking stuff I've never had before. When cooking that way how good the final result will be depends much on the whims of fate, but the fun is nevertheless always had.
I'm not much of a clubber - not a big dancer anyway. Prefer somewhere with good music and atmosphere, where just listening to the music (live, hopefully) is good enough. Last big gig I went to was the AC/DC concert in January 2010, but I like the smaller bands and locales too.
There's more of course. There's always more! In general I'm quite comfortable with my own skin, except where the sunflies bite me. Damn sunflies, g.

More seriously, someone who is cool to hang out with, Has a sense of adventure and is willing to explore things. Whether it's physical exploration - I do put a lot of kms on my car, after all, ask me why! - or just trying new hobbies or old hobbies with new twists.
Active too, I go to the gym regularly and it'd be cool to have someone to go with. It's not that I dislike the locals, but it's not as close when you just know them from the gym and don't exchange much other than the occasional spotting and whatnot.
And someone who can enjoy a quiet relaxed evening too. Reading, or going fishing, or anything like that. Sometimes it's good to have a bit of "me time." Shared "me time," if you follow me.
Well, it's either that or an overcaffeinated Genki Girl (look it up, you'll be amused :D). No, really, a full of energy Genki Girl would be awesome.
As for the dating/long term/etc. box, there was no "whatever" to choose from the dropbox of what one is looking for (or maybe multiple choices), so eh, I can say it here. Whatever, I'm game for many different things, I'm open minded enough :D
