Enough about me...let's talk about you. Seriously, though, I'm just a guy who doesn't really do the 'guy' thing that well, insofar as I'm not really a 'hang around the BBQ and talk shit' kind of person. Truth be told, I'm a bit of a loner these days except for work interactions and playing tennis (did I mention I love tennis) and other sports. Don't get me wrong, I've always been popular and get along with people – I can talk under water – but I'm long past the point of being the life of the party and I'm just me now. I still have an acerbic wit and a seriously demented sense of humour that sees me sometimes laugh at things I shouldn't laugh at and I've been guilty of having feelings of schadenfreude on far too many occasions but I'm grateful for the fact I just don't take life too seriously. At the same time, I'm a deep thinker and a great listener who always tries to do the right thing by people. I enjoy going to the beach, or any place on or near any body of water; long drives listening to music (easy listening or classic rock but no techno crap or rap etc) or talkback radio; watching and photographing sunrises and sunsets; weekends away, when my cat gives me permission; watching movies (true crime (or anything law-related) and suspense but also enjoy a well-made comedy as well as drama and...yeah, ok...romance movies if they're as good as Ghost); enjoy eating out but am a lover of food, not fine dining due to the fact I eat a lot and therefore it's a case of quantity over quality. They say you shouldn't talk about politics and religion so I'm not going to mention the fact I'm anti-woke, politically incorrect or that I haven't been to church in so long I can't remember when it was. I never had kids and have never been married and I may come to lament the former but I've no regrets for now. I don't do drugs and have no tattoos, which kind of makes me an outlier, I guess, in this day and age.

I can't describe someone I've not yet met. All I can say is that I'm not one to judge others and I believe it's possible that anyone has the potential to be my ideal match. Only trouble is, it isn't really up to me in the end. Ideally, though, I guess I'm looking for someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as I do and enjoys a good conversation over dinner and a glass of whatever. Someone sensual yet assertive and also someone who is kind and compassionate. I could say I want someone who's a maniacal miscreant in the bedroom and who likes wearing the finest french lingerie but then that might be considered somewhat inappropriate, right?
