First off thanks for reading my profile It's never easy to write about yourself but here goes. I have recently turned 64 am 6' 1 and am probably heavier than what I should be. Im not the ugliest bloke you'll meet, perhaps rather ravaged by time,though I don't feel or act like a man about to become an OAP. I'm classed as semi retired and on the plus side I still have my own hair, and my own teeth too! My interests are wildlife, nature and fishing, handy as I live in the countryside in Northumberland, where I also enjoy socialising in the local pub.I am also enjoying more time in my hideaway in Bulgaria, in a village between Popovo and Ruse. I love music of most types,read a lot,and love travel.
Our generation is blessed with an opportunity to travel more than any other, and I like to take advantage of that.
I consider myself very fortunate in having varied groups of friends, but if life can have a downside, it is that perhaps that I have been a bit too confined living in a small village for the past 30 years. Pals say that I should expand my range of those people who I enjoy spending time with, especially of course, women, as at times I can miss not having a close relationship with someone special of the opposite sex,. I'm hoping to meet a lady interested in looking forward to what we can do in the next decade or two left to us on this marvellous planet, as opposed to someone living with an over indulgence on their past life, although like many others of my age I must admit that the sixties shaped my life, my haircut hasn't changed since then either, and I sometimes think I haven't matured as much as I should have done!
Anyway if you would like to meet up for a chat and a coffee or a drink then that would be great. And even if I only get to expand my circle of friendsI I will consider that a success
