As my profile name is "thaicurious", I am considering my twilight years in Thailand. I'm 57 years of age.
I do enjoy travel...mostly S.E. Asia. Central America and The United Kingdom are other destinations I've had the honour to visit...with many fond memories to recall and cherrish.
I am intrigued with Geo-Politics and try to follow the world financial systems...to gain an edge when retirement is an option.
Through my travels, I have found Thailand has much to offer. Cuisine is always high on my list. If I can find a home-cooked meal...even better. The diversity of food, from region to region, gives me more reason to return.
The range of my movement on my last waltz...from Vientiane, Laos to Bang Saen Beach and Hua Hin...on both sides of The Gulf of Thailand hold a warm and great promise for me.
The beaches...I don't think I need to embellish this!
The people...very kind...and always friendly!!!
The weather...I've only been in S.E. Asia from November to February...but it's always been great!
