Driving one day I saw a young man
eating an ice cream cone on the side walk with the biggest smile on his face. He was so happy to have something so simple at that single moment it beamed.
I thought, if I ever come back that’s the guy I want to be. Then the realization it’s a one way trip, time, only forward.
My kids are great, but have their own lives. I’ve got memories of them and will continue to make memories with them. It’s when you go home the moment fades.
Think about the kid with the ice cream, I want every moment to feel to be just like a kid eating ice cream.

Grew up in Gaylord, spent 10 years active duty AF, moved back north. I enjoy the outdoors. Boating, Kayak, Walking through the woods, a park or downtown Chicago!
Do it yourself projects, I’m not going to redo any more houses! Pick one be happy with your choice;)
Hobbies, they are not “Must Do’s” they are things I like to do.
Spring, plant some flowers/ vegetables.
Summer, the boat after work to talk away from responsibility.
Fish and hunt for recreation. I would really like to golf again. I’m terrible but enjoy the challenge of trying to master something you stink at.
