I am a typical example of a semi urban social element in a developing South Asian country which is at its turning point going through a metamorphic phase ;socioeconomically, politically and culturally. As such my personality reflects the social nuances of the environment where I was born and grew up. I was born and schooled in Kandy, the central province in which area traditional culture is respectfully preserved and slow to embrace modernity. My university education was based in Colombo and became a young radical in the 70s. Politically , no party connected leftist and religiously no temple attached Buddhist. With my higher education background of fine arts I am inclined to all forms of contemporary arts such as painting, sculpture,design, architecture, music, drama, cinema,and also archaeology as one of my favourite subjects.
