Who am I? Maybe, and this may not be suitable at all, I will give you an insight into my state of mind right now, it is a quote from Dante: "Midway upon the journey of our life I found myself within a dark forest, for the straightforward pathway had been lost." Finally, at the age of 53 I am looking for love. That does not mean that I have not tried to find love before. I have never had a real relationship. I can hardly believe it myself. Maybe I am too shy. But, most certainly I have been very choosey. Or, maybe God tried to protect me and leave the best for last. I just went through life, always busy and suddenly I realised that I missed the point.
I am German, very German and I am quite proud to be German. But I also know that Germans can be quite difficult. Probably the reason why I spent half my life in countries like England, Ireland and Australia. I just happen to live in Australia right now, but honestly, I will go wherever you are. We live in difficult times and who knows what will happen in the future. I think I have mad a few mistakes in my life. Nothing dramatic. I have moved around a lot but could never find, almost never, a women, or better, there were "opportunities" but I was not really interested. To tell you the truth, I only ever fell in love once, but at the wrong time in our lives. But, maybe, I have a last chance. I am currently learning Espanol and would not mind moving to South Americ if that is what I have to do. But, if you want to join me in Australia, it is not a bad place, especially here where I live at the moment, near Byron Bay.
