Well, the song is from the "Close To You" album. It came out in 1970, that's 40 years ago!

...i must be honest, i thought them a bit cheesey at the time...it was'nt untill 30 years later i saw a concert of them playing at the new london theater that i copped on to just how talented and versitile they were...Richard did a spoof version of "close to you" in the style of Jimmy Durante...priceless!...
and Karen demonstrated her considerable drumming skills...
i guess 30 years of hindsight is better than none at all!... great post indeed...
