Hi, thanks for this. I've only known this version which is a totally different take! It was pretty big when I was a teen. Cool to know where it came from!

....A guy called Bert Berns wrote the "Them" tune in 1964 They were a group with a bit of charisma about them...
..Just had to google that...Yeah song title is the same,but your one written by Nick Gilder...Must admit had never heard of Nick Gilder....Anyway thanks for your comment...

Nick Gilder just took a couple parts of the original and incorporated it into his own song. They do that a lot today. Sot it's not an exact copy of the original. You would not know of Nick Gilder as he was just popular in Canada and only a little in the USA. I bet most don't know him in the USA either. A more popular song he did was Hot Child In the City which some Americans may know.
