I first discovered Steve in the movie "Cross Roads" a story about a blues player who sold his soul to the devil. His student manages to help him get a... 'Get yourself outta hell free card' by defeating the devil in a guitar battle. Stevie played the guitarist from hell. Ry Cooder also played some beautiful slide guitar for the movie as well.
