As regards the building on the far side of the moon; no real surprise as from the time of the Apollo 11 overflights.
A series of ancient Sumerian cuneiform tablets dating over 3000 years old, were translated many years ago that told of voyages to both the Moon and Mars, with bases and crews to man the incoming and outgoing flights of 'chariots' and 'whirlwinds'...ships that went back and forth to Earth, namely Eridu and Shippar which no longer exist.
These translations have been know for many years and have only recently come under even more studies. The translations have not been seriously challenged and there are less than a dozen linguistic experts in Sumerian and their Babylonian off shoots.
Accordingly, it has not been all that long since the ancient ruins on Mars were 'abandoned'. Neither the bases on the Moon.
