How to Whitelist

Not receiving CS Notices?

Each time you receive mail, flowers, or cards from members on Connecting Singles, a notice is automatically sent to your registered email address to tell you about it. If the email address you entered when you joined is not valid, or if you haven't approved Connecting Singles for delivery with your offsite mail provider, you will not receive our notice. This is sad because you may miss a cool connection with someone who has taken the time to view your profile, write you a message, pick out a flower, or create a special card for you. It's also unfortunate when you contact us with a question or concern, or when you forget your password and we can't respond or get them to you. We hate when this happens!
How can YOU connect with members if WE can't connect with you?!

Email Services: The Problem

In an effort to cut down on spam, email providers unfortunately are now filtering out the good as well as the bad. Connecting Singles NEVER shares your email address with ANY other party, and we NEVER send spam. We use your email address ONLY to send mail, flower, card notices, forgot password and Contact Us responses.

Some email providers filter messages and may put the emails we send you into a bulk or junk mail folder. Please make sure @connectingsingles.com is on your "approved sender list", "safelist" or "whitelist" and in your "address book." Occasionally a mail provider has filters that totally block certain incoming email without your knowledge. We don't always receive notice of such a block. The only solution to this problem is for you to make sure your provider knows you DO want to receive our email.

Whitelisting is a method by which you add our email address to a list of approved senders. This lets your email provider or software know that you do know who we are, and that you do want to get our messages.

Other Email Providers:

Many popular email programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Thunderbird, and Netscape Mail, don't provide a convenient way for you to whitelist addresses. If you're using one of these email systems and you aren't getting your CS notices, contact customer service at the company that provides your email or Internet connection. Explain to them that Connecting Singles notices are not spam. Ask them if they can whitelist the email.
