hi!i'm retired.i have a handicap due to a childhood illness.i've been on various site[handicapped and non-handicapped]i hope to meet someone here!
i have a physical handicap that is visible.i have been reading forums on other sites that debate whether someone would or would not date a handicapped person.some people say"of course"and go on to praise the handicapped to no end.this is sort of condescending.why does a handicapped person have to be a "saint" to live a normal life? other people reject the idea immediately.they state that they could be friends with the person but nothing else.the reason being that the handicapped person is perhaps limited in the romance department or some other area.it seems to be,because of my personal experience that the handicapped are still among the groups that can't be treated as just people.
i was exchanging emails with someone for 1 hour and that individual was suggesting that she come to my country already.i'm a nice guy and all but this seems kind of quick!lol
i have been on many sites.i have not had much luck.two reasons may be my photo and my handicap.the photo was taken when i was unaware and believe me i know about the shirt!it has been difficult to post another.now to the handicap.i had a cerebral hemorrhage as a child.i'm retired now.i'm fairly active.apart from the above,i'm a nice guy.i just don't know what to think about internet relationships.
