Frank is a retired Lt Col in the US army. He's blind and impossible to get along with. Charlie is at school and is looking forward to going to university; to help pay for a trip home for Christmas, he agrees to look after Frank over thanksgiving. Frank's niece says this will be easy money, but she didn't reckon on Frank spending his thanksgiving in New York.

what i can say about Al Pacino..............fabulous,incredible and stellar performer.
Great movie, great character study - wish they still made them like this. The speech at the end blew me away. Also great when Charlie stood up to him, earning his respect.

One of those movies that you will always remember. The tango scene, the way he describes the smell of women and for that matter all the one liners. Sometimes I find myself in normal circumstances in life, remembering a line or scene out of the movie. GREAT MOVIE and Al Pacino, great acting as always.
