RE: royal scots dragoon guards: aud lang syne

Thank you for sharing JC - very nostalgic for me. My great grandfather on the paternal side hailed from Scotland, my mother on the maternal side, England.

Loved it!

And a Happy New Year to you too, with lots of smiles and laughter.

Oh Papa(ft Before Breakfast): Magnetic

Magnetism? More a secret of the universe JC....I can't tell. I wish I knew.

As far as smiling goes: it sounds so old cliche, but it's the simple things in life that make me smile. It really is.

PS: I like to laugh.....a lot. Given the right company and good reason(or not, sometimes), I can laugh with you, and AT you....all day, every day lol.

mmmmm......just imaging what your smile looks like feeds my addiction....would that be magnetism or some other law of science?

Adele: Make You Feel My Love

@ Lily,

It is indeed. I like most of Adele's "19" and "21" albums.

Adele: Make You Feel My Love

Hey JC,

People do seem to resonate with the lyrics of this song, at various stages of their lives.

It first appeared for Adele on her debut album "19", originally a Bob Dylan classic.

I like the lyrics and the melody of this one.

can you unblock me or "disengage your cloaking device"? (i'm a star trek fan (trekkie) rather than a star wars one).

RE: Alanis Morissette: You Learn

her jagged little pill album was a stunning musical change . she 1st hit the airwaves about 4yrs early as a "pop princess". a lot must have happened in those intervening years.

thank you for your compliment on my song choices. i wish i could see your profile, again. i'm still covid-19 women watching and you are still too young for me, however. sorry for posting this here but, i couldn't think of how else to reach out to you.

RE: van morrison: wavelength

I love this song JC. Reminds me of heading off to the beach with friends, surfboards on roof rack and this song blaring on the car stereo.

Good memories.

RE: Melanie Fiona: Killing Me Softly - From Radio Hamburg, Germany

Thanks for sharing Shooby. There’s also a hip hop rappy cover of this song by The Fugees.

Worth a listen.

RE: Roberta Flack: Killing Me Softly

Also offered listeners a newer, different version which you might not be aware of. Hope you like it.
