and me party frock is ready....now much dancing sorry Fred as my ankle is on the mend and i have to take things easy....so only slow dancing for us.....
I got the state pension and half of john's pension so that put me 4 pounds over the limit for any benefits....sorry i ment to say that is the reason i got nothing....also the lads in An Post paid for his funeral and headstone for me....for which me and my kids have never forgotten...
Well i say the same Mary....I became a widow with 8 kids all in school. I got no going back to school allowances at all since i went on the widows pension...I didnt even get the burial benefit to help with john's burial....I have had 5 of my kids go thru college, I have a barrister, an intensive care nurse, a computer sciencist, an architect and business management.....the last fella want to be a vet so pray his leaving cert comes true for him...no body helped me or those kids thru college and anyone that can screw the state in my eyes are welcome as i would have got more first by not marrying John and secondly by rearing my kids to be junkies muggers or joy riders......that is my opinion.... you get no thanks for being decent people in ireland....
then they have dutch courage as no one can see them .....and take all their fustrations out on others use here as a personal boxing ring take a punch at whoever looks arseways at them....
I totally agree with you N the forums should be like the pub where we all sit around and have a chin wag....about the weather, the world, the price of butter and then a laugh.....
then if you want a personal chin wag with someone in the pub you kinda take yourself away from the group and talk one to one..
I lost my husband ten years ago last sunday and you know in losing him made me realise how precious life is in every shape and form. I taught my kids to appreciate life it self not what you need to make a life....People come into to our lives some to stay a life time some to stay a short time but mostly to impact our lives mostly in a good way.....so l love life and those i am blessed to have in it...
Please never do to anyone what you wouldnt like done to you
She is a fantastic woman and have read her two books which are both amazing stories she has told....A bridge across my sorrows! is how she grew up in Dublin and then Mama Tina! is her story on how she has worked with the kids in Vietnam....She is one strong and amazing woman....
