What a 2nd half performance, I was delighted to see Mikey Conway brought on Well we gave them 10 pts but that was to let them think they were in with a chance
Hey dude no problem, I wasnt having a go at you, O'Gara isnt a dirty player but he is very naive and seems to act and then think as for the Kildare player he reacted stupidly and he was taken off shortly after that, correctly IMO
Im sorry O'Gara deserved to be sent off yesterday he was fouling all over the pitch ans Sweeney was lucky but the Dublin fella went down like a sack of spuds clutching his face and Sweeney only shoved him
Only 5 I would bring in another umpire who would stand behind the goals and have the final say on contreversial decisions, drop the hand pass it ball has to be punched, bring in just a yellow and red card no ticks, no subsitutions allowed in the 1st half unless an injury causes the player to be taken off, bring a mark into the game if a player fields the ball and frees and sidelines cant be kicked from the hand and thats only for starters
Well I have to agree with you on that and my county Kildare are very guilty of that and never was it more obvious than at Crtoke Park yesterday, I heard Pat Spillane mention this last weekend and I hate to agree with him but he said with all the heavy emphasis nowdays on fitness levels the training seems to be geared to the short passing game and there is no training done on foot passing shich I think is to the detriment of the game
Well I dont agree Scribs where as I respect your loyalty to your county and province I just cant accept that it is harder in a province of 6 to qualify than a province of 12 with 11 playing counties, if we take the provincial champions thats Meath, runners up that should have been champions Louth, The Jackeens and us the Lilywhites, Laois who got promoted to Div 1 in the league, Carlow who have a chance at Leinster and Wexford who they are playing, Longford who are Div 2 champs, Leinster is getting a lot harder than Munster (Imo) to get out of
Well they mightnt set the world alight but they are still hard games to beat, as for my point about Ulster men managing they seem to have an obsession with physical and fitness training
I will agree to a point about Ulster Championships but its usually the same counties that compete for the mayor honours, if you were to go by the bookies no Leinster team would be in with a chance, as for Ulster being the more difficult championship, it has less teams in it and some of the leinster counties are being managed by ex ulter teams players
Well that would depend on the teams involed and the same teams always seem to be in the shake up at the end like what happens in Leinster so i am not sure where yoou get your comparison from
Well Im not going to get to excited about challenge games, my heart says Kildare bt Im afraid my head says we have a mental block about the dubs and the ref wont do us any favours
