Indeed it was a disgrace, that free awarded to Dublin at the end was another joke, where do the GAA get their referees from?

Well you could also argue that most of the play in hurling involes scrappy play on the ground, but when the play does open up its great. The teams played as well as they could today considering.
Some of the aerial play in football is fantastic. Take the league final for example, Cork got 18 points from play, many from long distance, you'd struggle to see that in many hurling matches.
Very interesting game. Showed up a couple of things.
1. It demonstrated why Dublin are very unlikely to win an All-Ireland THIS YEAR (Before the Dubs round up on me, I do think there is an All-Ireland or two in this team)Although that first yellow card was debatable, to be so indisciplined after already getting a yellow is criminal at this level, and it happens a lot to the Dubs. They won't get away with that against Cork or Kerry and were haunted to get away with it today. They need to eradicate this from their game and soon.
2. The Dubs 16th man played a blinder today. By which I mean the Ref. Most of his decisions were jokes and 99% of them favoured the Dubs. The last free was the most ridiculous I've ever seen and I find it very difficult to avoid the conclusion that he went out of his way to ensure the Dubs made the Leinster final.
That is not to take from the Dubs efforts and they probably would have won the game anyway, but it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. To be fair all the big teams (Cork included) get these decisions in both codes. It's just annoying.
