Does this site really work?

I am having a hard time finding women who live in a close proximity to me and who are also within a close age range on this site. Sometimes I find one but they have not been online in such a long time. Is it worth it to even message them? This is getting very discouraging. I wonder if anyone has some advice or maybe some sucess stories that could prove to me that this has worked out for them...

Tears: What he left behind.

With all the fast-paced technology nowadays, fast cars, and work/school schedules, we rarely get a chance to sit down and reflect on our lives. Many times we move from day to day so quickly that it becomes a blur and a relentless cycle. We never get a chance or a need to - stop, sit, and wonder if there is something more before we just… simply die. But to simply die? Is that all there is?

Sometimes the need for protecting a greater cause or fighting for a loved one can compel the most ordinary of people to become extraordinary. In those cases, we don’t simply die… our legacy lives on- forever.

It all comes down to one word: Sacrifice. Sacrifice is the epitome of selflessness. It is the noblest of deeds and the prime trait of heroism. We’ve seen a lot of heroic traits, honorable deeds, and noble people exemplify the true worth of sacrifice. However, only the best of the best have died for a worthwhile cause. Some of our noblest heroes will be discussed here. Yet, this blog delves deeper than that… it provides a question of human worth… the value of life through death.

Dying for a cause - To die for a cause means you value a set of ideals; a set of ideals so strong that in your death, you wish to protect it and share it with others so that they may follow by your example to continue this set of ideals. Why does it seem like there are so many that would sacrifice themselves for a cause? In my opinion, dying for something you believe in sets a value on life. It gives an individual life a set of values and beliefs; because you died for that cause. As long as that cause is still being protected and learned, you will forever be part of its’ history. That life will now be part of an everlasting belief and a timeless memory of an ideal protected.

I think people die for a cause because they want to protect the cause. That cause will now be part of their legacy.

In the real world, we tend to live our lives day by day never thinking about the sacrifices that go about protecting our peaceful society. What if you were given a choice one day?
You could continue your everyday mundane life cycle, or you can go out and sacrifice yourself for someone you loved or sacrifice yourself for a valuable cause? Would you take it?
