When the cost of cruising and a date was $5.oo,you could all night,take your girl ta a movie,drive down to Coney Island,and have a snack at Nathan's.Performing at The Fox Theatre in Brooklyn where Murray Kaufman did all the Rock"n"Roll shows,he was called Murray the "K",standing backstage,waiting to go on next,talk about a high,nothing like it anywhere,hanging out with guys like Johnny Maestro,Dion DiMucci,Tony Carlucci of The Impalas,when the cost of a Corvette Stingray was $1800.oo,and you picked the "Candy Apple" colors you wanted,Vets were two toned in those days,alot of us have bowed out,a few of us are still here,Rocking and Rolling,to music with a beat,lyrics you could understand,and relate to,and I am very proud to have been and still being a part of all that,I wanted to share that thought with those who read this.Have a great Christmas,from all of us,to all of you.Sincerely,"The Original Chevelles","The Echoes".Chuck Bruni
