[color=red][b]To Be Real, or Not To Be Real, that

When I post a profile on a site, I use true information about myself and pictures I've taken from my phones or my cameras. Being Real is quite easy when you are from your heart an honest person.

I've been social networking for almost ten years now, and still to this very day I continue to find that there are more and more people online that willingly choose to not be real with others in their online presentations.

Dating online is indeed risky, there is no way to put it more simply. Many people, men and women alike are using dating sites to lure their victims into scams and schemes. Romance has become the new Molly game (as in 3 card Molly). Yes, I've been around awhile.

To use dating sites most effectively these days, I've employed some very simple and straight-forward tactics to rule out those who choose only to 'not be real'. And at the same time, I use simple and clear guidelines to determine if a profile is Real or Fake.

If a doctor from ATL, GA. views my profile and askes me to prove to her that I am real, I have no problem sending her pictures of me at work with my work ID (with my name on it) clipped on. Or better yet, I'll give her my cell number to call or text me. I am always willing to prove that I am real and honest online.

I have made some really good friends online that have become real friends of mine in my real life. In order to get what we seek in others, we must be willing to give what we want to receive.

If the first thing that an online person wants you to have is their email address, then it is most likely a scam or a scheme. Granted, there are real people who will offer you their email address after they have found some common interest shared between you, or they have exchanged enough messages with you on the dating site that a level of trust has been established.

Here on this site, before my profile was up two hours I received four messages from fake people. Even being a fake person, if you read someone's profile and see that they are first going ot request that you prove that you are real, are you going to seek them out anyway? Yes, some fake people are actually really stupid also.

To be real and to be willing to prove it sets me apart from all the fake people online. I love that, it allows me to move from online to realtime reality within a very short time. I can go from a profile picture and description to a text or phone call and on to meeting over coffee or drinks within hours. and from there see just how real a real person is.

To Be Real is a matter of choice, from my heart I choose to be real and honest. To not be real is an intent to deceive, and deception begins from within and spreads like cancer. Is it an issue, or is it your position?
