Which is your most favourite wrist watch of all time (pardon my pun!)and why?
We all have to live somewhere, and I often wonder how other people live and in what kind of a dwelling they reside. There must a zillion kinds of homes where people live out their lives.
So what kind of a home do you have, and especially .. what is it about your home/environment that you like?
I would be very interested to know what interests other members have, and whether or not that, or those have become hobbies? And if so, what do they think and feel about whatever it is that they do?
And why do you like it? Because it is fashionable? Sleek and stylish? Cool? Fast and furious? A babe magnet? A man magnet?
Custom-built? Expensive or cheap? Please tell!
Whenever I see colour footage of those brave young pilots attacking the Pacific U.S. Fleets et.al., my heart breaks for them, marvels at their courage and bravery, grieves for them, and their families (on both the Japanese and the American side) and for their loved one's, on both sides of that terrible conflict.
My retrospective tributes go to both sides, and for every one of those people who lost their lives. The brave and courageous U.S. military service men and women (in all parts of their armed forces) who lost their lives. E.g. repelling such attacks, saving lives, and struggling to douse the conflagrations aboard their burning ships ..
War is a contentious issue, and it is never easy to broach such a sensetive subject.
What do you think about war (s)?
Is it really possible to turn back the clock on our ageing process (es) without resorting to invasive (or non surgically invasive) (plastic surgery) procedures?
Furthermore, if you are in favour 'of not looking your age' what would you suggest people can, could, or should do to maintain a youthful appearance?
YUM! Those two are mine. Which is your favourite spoon-dipper?
REAL FRIENDS have their own minds, personalities, or characters. They are individuals. Unique in his, her, or their own way. They are (or should be) capable of determining between right and wrong and bge able to make decisions for themself.
When our friends disagree with us, or or our reasoning, we might take that 'personally' as an affront to our sense of dignity. BUT the fact is that they are right to do so, because we do not choose our friends to become clones of ourselves, nor to affinitise with everything that we say and do.
Where would be the interest and respect in having 'a nodding dog' as a friend. Friends become many things to us, and their right to disagree is just one of those.
This does NOT make them 'a back stabber' nor does it make them 'unfriendly' .. it makes them what we as intelligent human beings chose them to be .. UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR OWN RIGHT.
And for that we like them and or love them, each and every blessed one!
I am a nice guy, who would really like to meet, nice women, who are single/unattached, and either looking for a friend to socialise with and/or have a relationship with in the city of Bath.
