caught up with the guy in the picture....he trapped the coconut crabs and keep feeding them with dry coconut meat till they grow big......i feel sorry for the poor creatures ....however what a delicious meal this coconut crab will be if well cooked.

when this PT109 he was in crushed down by the Japanes warship..in the solomons .he swam to one of the island now called Kennedy islands... the natives covered him with coconut leaves in a dugout canoe and paddled him to the USA base..
