We are getting some snow here in Oklahoma. Hello winter!
There was an earthquake around 2 a.m. Friday night here in Oklahoma. The epicenter was about 9 miles north of Prague if I remember correctly. It was felt by the surrounding states and was a 4.7 magnitude quake. I was woke up out of a dead sleep by it. The house was shaking and a loud rumble was heard. It was awesome but I won't lie it scared the hell out of me until I figured out what it was the next day. I thought someone was trying to break in my house. That's about the coolest/weirdest/creepiest thing I've been through.
I got the job at Walmart. Thanks for all the comments and encouragement on my other "job" blog. I think things will finally begin to move forward. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
I might have a job lined up at Walmart. I'll be working in the dairy department if it all works out. I'm just waiting on the background check and drug test results to come back and then I can start orientation. I'm really glad that something came along. Seems like things work out when I least expect them to, which is good, but nerve racking sometimes. Maybe soon I'll be living large and stepping easy!
Ha ha!
Well today was my first day to not use smokeless tobacco in about 4 years. I want to quit using all together and not having the money to buy it sure does help. The nicotine fits haven't been unbearable but then again it's only day 1. So I'll just continue day to day and kick this habit. Has anyone quit cigarettes or smokeless tobacco? Is there anyone planning to?
How's the unemployment issue around the world? Finding a job here in Oklahoma is slim to none for me right now. Especially since I want to stay in town. But it may be better if I look more places.
So I broke out my guitars today. Needless to say I am extremely rusty. I remember being decent but that seems like a long time ago. Nonetheless I am going to keep on playing and develop my 'chops' once again. Hopefully this time I will keep up with it.
