Can you can stay cool while everyone around you is going crazy and saying everything's your fault?
Can you depend on your own judgement when everyone questions your integrity, and yet accept their right to be skeptical?
Can you be as patient as life requires, and not give up hope?
Can you deal with hearing lies told about you, and being hated, yet refuse to stoop to their level, and manage not to come off as overly self-righteous in the process?
Can you be imaginative, but not become a flake? Can you be thoughtful and reflective, without becoming a bag of hot air?
Can you deal with life's extreme ups and downs, and recognize they are two sides of the same coin, and that neither one is the absolute end of the road?
Can you handle hearing every true thing you say twisted into lies by creeps just to con the gullible?
Can you cope with losing everything that ever meant anything to you, and yet go back to square one and begin again from scratch?
Have you got the guts to take a once-in-a-lifetime chance that requires you to risk everything, and accept the consequences when you lose it all, without being bitter about it, and start over again with nothing?
Can you use your body to accomplish things that will outlast you, so that even when you are exhausted you can keep going because you know your goal is worth achieving?
Can you associate with ordinary people, but not become mundane. Can you mingle with exceptional people, but not become conceited?
Can you endure the barbs of your enemies and the betrayals of your friends?
Can you be a person that everyone identifies with, but remain unique?
Can you keep going and working at your tasks, when you're all alone and could quit without anyone noticing?
You need to do all these things in life, and your reward for succeeding at them is merely to be called a human being.
