Ok....been on line way too long, still hoping to meet that special person. Still driven beyond odds that there are some men that say all those flowery, romantic things a woman longs to hear, are just things that don`t mean much at all. Been in 6 relationships on line. Finished with the lines I don`t want to hear. -Get to the point of meeting, then it starts:
"Yes, we are far apart, distance doesn't matter. -But, I don`t think checks can be cashed, in another state, so I`d like to put my money into your bank account or credit card, so we`d have something to use while I`m with you. Please submit your numbers as soon as you can so we can be together."
As much as someone would want that there is 0% chance this person is honest. I have always remembered, if it is too good to be true, than it is. WHO would be that desperate? -NOT ME!!

Well, dear hearts..... Having experienced several "starter" relationships, I have been in those long-distance things.
They get as far as (after about 20 emails), to the point of getting down to the nitty-gritty of meeting. Then I will put myself (what seems like) jeopardy. I say that the man has to come however distance when the woman doesn`t have the funds to travel &or an older woman shouldn`t travel alone. All of a sudden, if not asking me for money to do it or wanting my banks account #`s to put their money in (when their check can`t be accepted in another state-are they kidding???) Then it`s a different feeling/story as to meeting, then it is dissolved.
Is it just me, or are they also jerks. I haven`t even had a problem with getting quite a few emails from men that want a relationship. Am I not worth it, as in the fist phase they say I am, or is it the age thing?? This is getting old, if not for my desire to have that companionship & whatever goes with it.

Going to church or not...I know people who do go to church, & can`t be the Christians they are supposed to be. A learned prayer, repeating the same thing over & over is just religion, it doesn`t make someone pure, wholesome or automatically a Christian. I reverted to "Cathalicism" when my kids were small, did the studying, the continual knelling, & chanting. Then, I found the God does answer prayers without all the "Laws" of the church. All one has to do is have your faith, be in a quiet place, in your mind & heart, & say a prayer with substance, with thanksgiving & a good attitude with gratitude.
I`ve been to several churches, & got baptized in all of them.
But I decided, that unless you want that extended family of people, I don`t care for an organized religion. Has anyone seen how much money it takes to run the Catholic Organization...look at Rome & "the finery" . What each person believed it their own choice. That is why I got ordained, a non-profit, no organization. I have been a Christian all my life, doing for others, in my work, taking care of the elderly, in one way or another for 42 yrs. You have to live faith...one doesn`t get it by attendance, in something. Well, I`m a writer...this is what I also do, & share. God`s Blessings to you who read this. Ness
Take a moment. Go to the core of your heart & feel why Jesus died. Reflect on the good things that have happened because of the one who is a Savior. You can go to that place often...He will be there to listen, when your problems are overwhelming.

I`ve been on several sites for almost 3 yrs. I receive many emails from men that are in their late 40`s & early 50`s. They pay no attentions to my preference of 56-69, which gives me a good range. They happen to think they are an exception.
About 50% of the emails I get end up to be scammers. Be it a normal site or Christian. They romance you, & if can you read between the lines, it leads to asking for money, even if I state (from the beginning, I have no savings, stocks or bonds,& live on under $1000 a month.)I had a supposed geologist have a "spoiled" drill ,gathering samples from deep in the ocean. They can always gather pics from somewhere. (Note. He uses the word spoiled. The kicker is he asked me for $250,000,000.

Some men believe they can manage to have a long distance relationship, even if it`s 200 miles away. A woman gets emotionally involved, then when you ask if they can come out to meet you...they find someone closer or change their minds.
How can someone not get emotionally involved that way or protect yourself from these men that want money. .misskittyfur -COMMENTS??
