LK's blog made we wonder who we all are anyway.
This song by The Who came to mind.
Feel free to answer the question if you want!
I myself an a teacher and a lover of all kinds of music.
I know that spring is only approaching in the northern hemisphere but I think most people welcome it no matter where you are when it comes.
This song is expressing my feelings about this time of year! Hope you like it too!
I saw this and thought we all can use a reminder. The source is the bible but whether you believe in it or not the message is good for all of us.
Have a great day.
There is so much great music to listen to I'm just curious what everyone likes. In other words what is your favorite song.
In the world of classic rock it is often said that Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd is the Number 1 song.
I like it but it is not my favorite. I will tell you what my favorite song is later in the comments. Here is a little Free Bird to listen to as you decide what your favorite is. Please also list the genre just in case we are not familiar with it.
Just goes to show you can rock any time, place, or where!!!!
Great Music
Anyone who knows me know that I love classic rock music. One of my favorite bands, if not my #1, is The Who. The variety of music they have produced never ceases to amaze me. They have so much great music and songs that have so much meaning. That being said I believe that their best song is more recent. It was released in 2006 on their 11th album Endless Wire. The title is Tea and Theatre.
The words could have many meanings. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
This is Live Royal Albert Hall Londra 2008
On Monday here in the USA we will be remembering a great man. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We remember him on the third Monday of January every year which is close to his birthday (15th of January)
Never has his message of love and racial equality been more needed, not just in the United States but in the entire world.
I wonder what he would think of the world today of he was alive. I can't help but think he would be both happy and sad at the same time. We have come so far but at the same time we have so very far to go.
Happy Birthday Dr. King
You are missed but not forgotten.
