Why internet dating and not looking for a woman next door? Well the woman on the advertisements for de datingsites are so extremely beautiful, it is difficult to resist i don’t find such an extreme beauties within my friends, do you?
And also you don’t hurt anybody if you do it a bit anonymous.
And most of all I am curious how all this works, and I can try it without red cheeks..
With a certain diffidence I started with Tinder, only to find out that how much you swipe, nobody swipes back. After all you are not 18 anymore. And only with a recent picture this will not work.
Switching to Badoo, where you can give a little description about yourself (But why does everybody like traveling and cooking?). Now the money comes in. Although not expensive, the program screams the whole time for more money and for access to your Facebook contacts. Very embarrassing if you push the wrong button and by accident invited the young daughter of one of your good friends.
Very fast you get a match. That extremely young and beautiful girl living not so far is looking for men older than 45. That’s me I think. Let’s set up a meeting on Skype she suggests. Indeed she is beautiful, and she looks real. But why does her microphone not work? And then you find out she is not living nearby but she is now in Côte d'Ivoire where she visited her sick aunt, who died not long age. Don’t have to be intelligent to smell that this stinks.
So it turns out most of the interesting profiles on Badoo are false.
Switching to the more serious work: Elitedating. Let’s be honest, this is expensive. But what is expensive if you meet endless numbers of beautiful woman, who have been waiting for you. And it gives a good feeling to be part of the elite, as if the first selection has already been done for me.
It must have been my profile, as I almost got no partner suggestions; at least not the ones I liked. And as they give you the suggestions, based on their so called scientific dating model, you only get 1 or 2 a day. (in my case a week). I think this was to punish me for not putting the age slider to my age. Sorry I was not looking for a grannie.
