Once more I get to"ring out the old, and bring in the new!!" It has been a fantastic year for me on CS! I have met a lot of great people, so once more I get to thank this site for "keeping it real" and friendly....
For the oldtimers to this site, like myself and the new ones just starting or thinking about starting, it is well worth your time to check it out...

I have been a member of CS for a couple of years now, written a few blogs, and basically just enjoy this website.. As an avid looker for that particular lady, I keep asking myself, am I getting too old for this? Each time I log in, I see more and more younger faces, and less and less of us oldsters, I am not objecting mind you, I look forward to seeing new members, because that tells me this site does work.. But it is saying something about ourselves, are we giving up altogether, ready to give up the race? I FOR ONE AM NOT GOING TO..!! I know she is out there, and I will keep looking..
But for the rest of you, " HOW OLD IS TOO OLD?".................
It was Mother's Day weekend, since the last time I wrote a blog...After my prolific expoundings on my views, there were a few who responded..
But this weekend signifies, one of the greatest weekends we can conjure...A TIME FOR REMEMBRANCE... Acknowledgement and understanding for those that that have gone on before.. War, disease, genetics,it should all be part of our remembrance..
THOSE THAT HAVE GONE ON BEFORE..
I put it to all of you, a loved one, a member of the Armed Forces, who gave their lives for our country.. A Mom, A Dad, brother, sister, remember them with love and the dignity they deserve, for this their time...!!!

Tomorrow heralds the first day of spring.. A time for renewal, rebirth, new birth, new life and love......
It is a time to take stock of yourselves and look around. The newborn puppy, the newborn kitten, it is life in its most precious moments. The unfettered giggle of a new baby, it is life renewed.!
A time for new awakenings, new yearnings, new searches for that special one...
Love in all of its forms is there, just look for it....Be sure your heart is sincere and your goals realistic, your search honest, you will find what you are looking for......
We, the people represent love and desire it.. It is all up to you!!!

For many years, I was out of the social scene, having to work third shift, but I still remember those times.. Now that I have retired, I decided to take a moment to reflect on that that period of my life..
As my parents used to say girls get "gussied-up,", guys get "duded up", pardon the vernacular, I have been out of the linguistic circuit for a while... Then they all go out for a great time, and for everyone there is something to do..It is the WEEKEND!!!after all.. As it should be!!
As for myself, I took time out tonight, to sit in the backyard, watch the sun set, watch the birds catching mosquitoes, meantime, keeping an eye out for one of the family pets, Piper, a three-year
old miniature Dachshund, as she chased away all the demons, imagined or otherwise, making the yard safe for all of us,she thinks ANYWAY!!!... (Works for me!)

Very seldom do I ever get into issues like these...This has nothing to do with romance, ( God forbid! ).. But to you as an individual, male or female......
Our government has decided that we can no longer go to an outlet to get cash on a hold-to -payday check, in order to get a cash advance.. They have decided that all banks should handle this issue!...When was the last time, you went to your bank and requested a cash advance on your paycheck (1-2 weeks in the future) and could get the money in advance...??
I think never..
Even though, this network, has to do with romance, hopefully, with positive results, for most , I believe this is an open channel to the world.. As Americans, we have the right to stand up for what we believe in...
From 1963 to 1967, I served my country Honorably, in military service, I was discharged under Honorable, Hardship conditions, when my father passed in January l967,due to Leukemia..
I was the only child to our family, I became the paternal figure in my family, until my Mom passed in 1970..
What has this to do with the issues I have previously discussed??
There were moments when I had to depend on someone else to help me through the times, with no cash,but I knew there would be someone out there to help me..... I was never disappointed, or let down...
Support legislation that will help us in the future....!!

First of all I would like to take the time to thank all of you who actually read my blog from yesterday, PAYDAY, YOUR DAY!!?????. and especially to the young lady who posted her comment.
I feel very strongly about this issue, it is an alternative to an end, that so many people come against in day-to-day-living..
In these times, young people, both male and female, are prostituting themselves in order to make ends meet,because they are on their own.. They might have a daytime job,living from paycheck to paycheck, and is usually the case, when bills are paid, there is no money left for food.. It is a vicious cycle, we all live it, daily...
But with paycheck advances, there is an opportunity, a window, for someone who prides themselves, to get ahead, create a budget, they can live with and move on to a better life.. Is it not worth it???????
I think so...........
Once again, I present this issue to all of you. You are the past, the present and the future of our world..

It is my turn to ask questions now!
A few years ago, when I had no place to go; a younger couple I knew, whom had worked with me for a few years, offered me a place to stay with them. I accepted and have been with them ever since...
They are now in the process of buying a new home,and have included me in their list of whom stays....
But knowing the male half of this situation, there is jealousy, and since the mortgage will be in his hands and his name, I can only foresee, more problems in the future...
If anyone has input on this type of situation, I would appreciate
any kind of worthy comment..
For the more dogmatic, there has never been any kind or ever will be any kind of s*xual activity. I accept them as my young'uns, I care for them both, as the ones I never had a chance to raise.. I really want what would be best for them.. That is why I am asking for your hearfelt input, Youngsters, what would you do??
What would you do????? I am wide open for suggestions!!
I would like to post a note here, that we all live in the same world and just being older does not make us any smarter, just more acceptive to things we cannot control.. I do not believe that any generation has all the answers, just more questions.. I believe that is what keeps all of us going, is the need to know. We learn by our experiences. We seniors, have had more time to make mistakes and hopefully to learn by them and even more poignant, pass on what we have learned to those who will listen!! Young or senior..
Youngsters, it is up to you, ask questions, get answers and pass it on!!
