There is astronomical suffering in Haiti after the major earthquake which has claimed approximately 50000 lives and injured close to a million. They are without food, shelter and clothes. All means of communication are down, and even though relief efforts are ongoing they are hampered by the lack of communication. My heart goes out to the them as they go through this difficult time.
Why is there such difference between men and women. Women communicate more effectively are more emotional and tend to focus on solutions that favours the family. Men on the other hand are more task oriented, less talkative and more isolated. Women use both hemispheres of their brains while men are more active with the left hemisphere of their brain. They are more adept to problem solving while women are more creative with problem solving. Men have the fight or flight response in dealing with stress while women tend to form bonds to deal with a crisis. Could it be that both were created to complement each other in that one makes the other complete.
