I JUST DON,T KNOW

Why is that folk who have an extreme viewpoint bother to post on a thread in the forum.

I agree everyone has a right to an opinion and of course the right to discuss and put their viewpoint over, however, these folk do not discuss they PREACH and RANT abusing others who disagree with them or question their usually biased sources of information.

In an open forum debate should be healthy and arguements as lively as they can but, please can we look with an open mind and see the argument from both sides.

Often they will quote a historical fact usally true but they only use the bit that suits their argument and when folk point out their failure to research and go back further to a point which refutes their argument they refuse stating that they and only they have the right facts. This proves that by reading or quoting from a one sided reference thier mind is closed to an open discussion...

We must look at any discussion from all angles often there is no defininative right or wrong. But these folk refuse to read or look at anything that puts their argument in a weak position...

I find that no matter how many folk are against the question posed the do not relent or give an inch, so why bother to post if you are not willing to listendunno

If only once these folk would concede that the majority may be right or even accept the viewpoint of others is not to be abused as many of them do...

Then I would haqve a bit of respect for them and take their comments a bit more seriously as at least they may have had the decency to look at the other side of an argument.....

Peoplehave been accused of a "pack mentality" and jailed for this when often it is the person who is against the majority who causes the problem, which results in the majority looking as though they are hounding the OP.

When in actual fact the majority are only putting forward a personal viewpoint which conincides with each other...
