Choices

Every choice we make leads us closer to or further from our goals. We constanty need to monitor where we are in that journey. We have to be aware and make our choices consciously.

Look around you....There are great people erywhere, and there are those who just want to drag yu down!

But, the ball is in your court, be careful how you choose!

We can choose to have a positive attitude or a negative one...choose to be positive

Some of us may be undergoing great hardships, but, we are not given a stone to heavy to carry, "CHOOSE" to carry your stone gracefully...

No matter the circumstances, if you look for some good, you will find it, if you look for something to complain about, you will find it. "CHOOSE" to search for good and "CHOOSE" to believe that something good can and will happen. "CHOOSE" to live with hope rather than despair.

We want to do everything, but, how can we become anything if we want to become everything? "CHOOSE" realistic goals that you have time for.

When we face choices and refuse to decide, the refusal is our decison. We decide to drift wherever the tides and current will take us. No one chooses to be unhappy, but we "CHOOSE" what makes us unhappy

We've all done it, faced with a situation that requires a choice...we know the right choice, but we make the wrong choice, even when we have made the same wrong choices many times before, and it has never turned out well

Simplicity is beautiful...
I find it beguiling that something God created; so beautifully created could be considered a highly volatile and controversial topic. But to many black women, broaching the topic of natural hair can result in a verbal nuclear war. For a world that is obsessed with beauty, it seems strange that natural hair has been pushed to the curb. As a brother once pointed out, we live in a sick world that expects people to slice themselves, starve themselves, transform themselves, erase themselves, deny themselves and sometimes even kill themselves in order to fit the unrealistically rigid standardized model of beauty. The pressure to conform to this standard is high. To vilify the Black woman's natural look, is to attack the very core of her sexuality. Beauty and sexuality go hand in hand. A woman who does not feel beautiful will not be able to express her sexuality efficiently. In fact her sexuality will be stumped. Natural hair has been vilified since slavery and the colonial days and that stigma has remained until today. Many black women would rather be caught dead than be seen with their God-given hair. The fact that they are bombarded by commercials and campaigns that glamorize Eurocentric beauty does not help. Yet those are the prominent images that black women are lambasted with every single day of their lives, seeing barely anything that reflects their true selves.

I do care how I look. It's just that I have always regarded make-up as cheating, somehow...
Plastic surgeries, makeup, colored hair and a number of other beauty procedures are common to nowadays woman and sometimes even man. Does all that really make you more beautiful than you are natural? Does everyone appreciate such unnatural beauty? Is it worth exchanging natural to fake? No matter what you decide to do to yourself, you should keep in mind that celebrity looks won't make you beautiful. We are all different and in spite of copying someone we should simply emphasize the beauty we have. Your nose is not perfect, but you have beautiful eyes? Make them more noticeable than nose and your problem is solved! You don't like your body shape? Do some sports, eat healthy food and you will soon have the shape you want. Yes, it requires some effort, but you'll definitely feel wonderful knowing that you can control your body. You may even hide your shortages by choosing appropriate clothing.
Women know that self-confident, charming and communicative female does not necessarily have to wear makeup or have a perfect skin or face shape to be a center of attention. Most women would even rather communicate with natural looking lady than with coquette wearing mask made of makeup.

Whole world adores natural things, so before having a plastic surgery or doing makeup in the morning think whether you really need it. Take care of your skin, learn to hide the details you don't like about yourself and you'll definitely feel better knowing that you are beautiful. Naturally.
