I am a new blogger. Well...here goes! I recently went on a trip to Europe and I was amazed to see not only the difference in customs and behaviours ( This is obvious, of couse, but I am using this as a starting point). Often in our own countries
( we'll i am speaking for myself) we get a caught up in a vacuum or singular way of thinking and don't recognise often that people do things very differently. Particularly, going to the UK, if those people saw where I lived they would literally DIE!!! I live 200m from an picturescue beach, and the weather is almost perfect all year round. I noticed particularly in the UK and from the accounts of my close friends in Finland, people in these countries often suffer from SAD(Seasonal Affective Disorder). I used to criticise where I lived, and thought it was boring. But, also after I met some young people from Romainia in Europe and saw the hardships in their faces, I soon changed my tune. Just the point I am trying to make is be thankful for whatever freedoms you may have, the fact we dont have to fight for our lives everyday and don't have to starve is a true blessing.
