Well so now it's down to a national referendum....
The issue, the way I see it is this:
What right have the majority of people living in a place to dictate what minority group of people want when they are not affected.
Let me put it this way:
If couples are happily married they do not need to vote against divorce because they do not need it. So why all the fuss about the issue?
Unfortunately it is a fact that marriages do fail, for one reason or another, but they DO FAIL. So why not offer Christian mercy and love to the couple and let them separate and start afresh? Have they to live the rest of their lives in pain and distress? Can't they find love in their lives?
Who said once... Love thy neighbour like yourself? What would YOU do if you were in such a difficult situation?
