The fact that God shows us to love shows a action of sacrifice or call to action as you can`t say you love someone and dont do something anything that makes that statement true ,,there will be action behind what you truly believe if it is I love you then you will do and be and have and have not and yes it will take sacrifices to show that love to the person

What sacrifices do you make for the things that make you come alive? Can you have a love for art, without sacrifice? Is affection love, or something less?
I love cheese.
I love rich, dynamic music.
I love the family which I never see.
Where is the sacrifice, there?
Understandably, there may be sacrifices made in a loving relationship, but I wonder why God, in his infinite power and love, needed anyone at all to sacrifice? Is God not capable of forgiveness, unless someone gives his life?

Yes, I do. If I profess to love someone, but then am not willing to sacrifice or inconvenience myself for their needs or happiness, my love is a very shallow one indeed. The more you are willing to go out of yourself for the one that you love is a good measure of the depth of your feeling.
