Though women go to singles sites

are there groups of people who establish a community for better living? Not the "commune" of the 60's, no gender-limiting connections, ( gay, lesbian), religious, etc..but perhaps a community that works for a good cause like animal welfare, the environment???

Some kind of foundation needs to be established where people work and share for the betterment of the world. Does anyone know of any such place?

I am a woman 55, still vital, attractive and well educated. But if I never find my soulmate, I'd rather live with like-minded people who will help heal the environment.

Does anyone feel the same?
