I am running the Paris Marathon in two weeks time and would really like to experience Paris as a local would. So if there are any ladies that could show me the cool places and hot spots.

Just in case your French isn't strong,Montmarte,the artist's quarter,and the Moulin Rouge cafe are the 2 places to go for fun.I've been to Paris,grew up in France,you'll love it.
