10 tips for greece visitors part 1

is greece in ur plans for ur summer holidays?? i have some tips for u ,as a greek ,working in the tourist industry
1) if u come by plain at the athens international airport , u will have to get a taxi to the canter of athens.if so , watch the meter all the time and don't let the taxi driver charge u more , than the right sum. if u can carry ur things use the metro or the suburban train,its very cheap and gets u to the down town of athens.
2) make all the arrangements about sleeping, tickets etc via internet , or if u will use a travel agent ,before u book any ,consult for any ticket or hotel rooms the internet sites. then ask ur agent to give u his best prices and choose the best.
3)in the tourist places ,u will find a lot of cafes and restaurants ,taverns etc.prices vary from cafe to cafe , or tavern to tavern. lowest prices ,don't mean that the quality is not so good , or the service is laming .its the owners politics mostly.expensive prices = more profits
4)how to choose the right place to eat or just have a coffee:
asking the owner of the place u stay. its for his interest to suggest u a good place.,ask other tourists from ur country .its better that way , cause u have common taste . avoid empty places ,something is wrong having no customers ,during the high season.
prefer roasted meats and freshly cooked food. only where u will be sure for the quality of the shop ,eat the famous greek plates ,like mousaka etc.
5)how to save MONEY eating???
breakfast:in every village or small city u will find more than one bakery , u can buy milk , bread and several kinds of pies and desserts, all of them fresh and delicious . it will cost u the third or half of a breakfast at any cafe or taverna.
