I would say just open up your heart. And let yourself go. Don't let anything in your past stop you. I too have had to let a lot go. But I am a true beleaver in love and it can happen just stay open.

Use your past as lessons learned. But don't fall into trap of comparing all opportunities to the negative feelings from your history.

Best way to explain is...don't use your history as the ruler to judge all possible relationships in your future. Let yourself go and trust.
