if you truly love him, and if he truly loves you.. you won't have lost him forever. But try not to hurt him when he comes back. We all hurt people we love from time to time. Loving someone also means we forgive the other for that pain, because we know they don't intend to hurt us. Good luck susan.

My ex did too. We were an item for 18 months out of which the last 6 were hell. She hurt me many times. And yes, she's lost me forever: haven't taken her calls/emails/txt in the last year. She's dead to me, because I loved her.

Sometimes the pain of being hurt can be too much for some people that are deeply in-love with someone.. especially if its a repeated pain. in most cases the person is lost to them. But given enough time you might be able to have another chance but only in friendship for the most part and perhaps a slight million to one chance of accualy getting back together.. With anything.. Time is whats importaint.. either at the start or end of a relationship or.. anything else for that matter.
