Constant Companion
Written by Message from Jesus 11/13
I want to be a very present companion, counselor, and help to you—not merely someone you know of, or someone you met once but rarely think about or talk to, or even an advisor that you consult from time to time when you have a problem or need to make an important decision. I want to be a constant, loving presence.
I want to communicate with you personally and directly, and not in a distant, formal, or mental sort of way, but heart to heart. I want us to commune as intimates would, to talk things over, to reach decisions together, and to sometimes communicate without saying a word. I want to develop a bond of love between us that you’ve never experienced with anyone else and can’t even imagine.
Learning to converse freely with Me, like learning to be natural, open, honest, and trusting in your communications with any friend, is something that comes with time and practice. It may feel awkward or even seem like work at first, learning to come into My presence and recognize My voice, but if you will do your part by making that effort, I will speak to you. I may give you ideas or solutions or answers to your questions, or I may give you a feeling of peace and well-being, or I may simply tell you how special you are to Me and how much I enjoy being with you. I’m full of surprises, so you’ll never know what to expect, but this I promise: I will never disappoint you!

nice letter from the holyman...
you make it sound like he needs me
when it is i that needs him instead.
Our holyman has become desperate
What would be the point of any prophet teacher philosopher
guru if they did not have anyone to support their ideas?
Jesus stands at the door of our heart gently knocking and waiting for anyone to answer. He cannot enter where he is not wanted.
For it's a matter of choice from everyone if the want to open the door.
i'm not much into teachers
and not much into believing in that knock on the door either...my way of thinking might differ tho our holyman may be the same, but i think he does more watching more so then he does waiting
God said that there would be imposters who come in his name, taking his very name as their own. He said that we are NOT to listen to them.
Talk with God is good, but it is also to occur in the appropriate season and time.
Jesus said that many would say to him "Lord, Lord....." He said these people would preach in his name, that they would even perform miracles in his name. But his sentence against them is to cast them out and have nothing to do with them.
Now this is not the person you talk about in your quote. No this person expects accountability and will not have a conversation with just anybody.
I think it is about time that people who preach take a really honest look at the one who they preach, and understand that the freedom he gives, is not freedom as humanity understands it. Salvation and Eternal Life is not the salvation and the eternal life that humanity looks for.
And God does not speak to everybody the same. Think about the man who was was healed when the "Legion" of demons were driven out of him by Jesus. Jesus DID NOT allow him to become one of his disciples. Huh? This Jesus is not the Jesus preached above.
I encourage you to take a look at the real Jesus, and get to know him first.
God expects us to take the first step now. Jesus died making a way open to communication with God, but that way is narrow, difficult, and costly. It is not easy.
Easy is the way to death according to the real Jesus of the bible.
Thanks for your response... as a Missionary for 40 years one of things that really expressed individuality was the way one would share the "glad tidings"! The experiences, thrills, and wonderments the Lord gifted. Many accomplished ministers brought forth wonderful aspects of the Word, encouraging the sincere at heart to shine forth with His loving kindness... the "Door Knob" was alway low enough for a child to open. God Bless!
