Looking for the Sunrise

Embedded image from another site

I’m not looking for the sunset,
As the swift years come and go;
I am looking for the sunrise,
And the golden morning glow,
Where the light of heaven’s glory
Will break forth upon my sight,
In the land that knows no sunset,
Nor the darkness of the night.

I’m not going down the pathway
Toward the setting of the sun,
Where the shadows ever deepen
When the day at last is done;
I am walking up the hillside
Where the sunshine lights the way,
To the glory of the sunrise
Of God’s never-ending day.

I’m not going down, but upward,
And the path is never dim,
For the day grows ever brighter
As I journey on with Him.
So my eyes are on the hilltops,
Waiting for the sun to rise,
Waiting for His invitation
To the home beyond the skies.

yes nicely said heart wings but how do you really know gods a guy and not a woman confused maybe your looking for her, and maybe a sunset happy place
Wonderful Comments dear loves, the Bible shares countless views of God's masculinity and the Holy Spirit His Wife(Songs of Solomon gives more accurate metaphors of the female aspects)--we understand "The Father" as our "ALL in ALL". God can reveal His own nature!

Genesis 2:7 speaks even more remarkably of something God did only for man, not the animals: then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. So the very Spirit of God was breathed into Adam! Lots of refined views Online gives detailed features of God, "Male or Female". Best of Love!
