how do i get my sons dad out of our lives

Well, doesn't your son's dad need to see his father?
Can't he just take his son with him when he spends time with him so you can have your own time too? What are the details?

I do not agree, i think both parents should have equal rights to their children.. i know there are 2 sides to every story and we are just getting one side... put yourself in your son's dad's shoes for one week and think about how he may feel or what he is going thru. if you try to keep your alls son from him, sure he will be "out to get at you" you need to settle things for your son's sake! think about your son... does he love his daddy? probably so, unless he has been brainwashed into believing that his dad is some useless piece of shart! i dont know the situation at all of yours, but im trying to help you to maybe discover the root of the matter. now i am a single daddy with 7 kids,,, 4 of them live with me full time and their moms have chosen to not be in their lives,,,,, if she wanted to be there ,,, i would not try to stop her, but there would be boundries of course.. i dont know if you will learn from this or try to bash me and hate me for the truth, but im trying to be in the neutral position here. god bless your son, you and his daddy are the adults here ,,, so act like it... if the father is a danger,,, get a restraining order, if not, let your son love his father...
