o no here i go again lol another example for you all to ponder ......................... a few years ago myself and tg went to derry ( dw going to love me lol ) we went to the pub and at around 11pm we headed to a niteclud must say we were not pissed but you would have smelled the drink we went up to the club door doormen just said hello and didnt even mind us all they said was have a good night and we went in no problem. So is it the case that if i want to go for a drink and then go to a niteclub i have to go as far outside dublin as possible to find doormen who seemingly are able to make a judgement by actually engaging in a conversation of the simlest form instead of judging people from what they wear or just by looking at them ?dunno confused

Good to see you can laugh at it! I'd be raging if it was me. It's discrimination om rounds of age, they're not allowed do things like that unless it's someone who looks young & can't prove they're over 18! Only excuse me and my friends ever get is "not tonight lads." Also (just to rub it in tongue)Fibbers of all places to get refused from, we use to get into that place 10 years ago when we were all 16! I wont comment on any place that would let me in at that age laugh

shadowlord69: are they like the last line of defence to safeguard against ordinary decent people who just want to go out and have a nice pint and some fun ? What reasons or excuses have you come across to be denied a night out relaxing with friends for a pint ?

To be honest have never been refused anywhere, even when I was only 15 and should have been,

rolling on the floor laughing It's not so much the barred part that's bother me. I have this amazing way of rubbing salt into wounds and the kicking I'd be expecting later on in the night would be playing in the back of my mind...Ha, trying to kid myself, I probably wouldn't care and dont go to places I get refused...if that makes sense! I knows what I likes and I likes what I knows!
