mylifewithu: Speaking of pets I bought my angelfish a angelfish friend and possible future mate. Oh it was halarious watching the beginning battle of whom was boss.
I made sure to get the biggest one I could but it's still much smaller than my female fish, and I made sure to get the meanest acting one they had too. It needed to be able to stand ground against my big one.
It was so funny both had fins spread wide as they could to look bigger and meaner, and they both made jumping actions at the other. I cracked up over it. Today they have settled a bit and have choosen their own sides of the tank.
Just starin each other down...waitin for the other one to try to go on the others side of the tank....

It took a long time for my big fish to teach that smaller stubborn one that this is her side , and go away. I had to keep the lights off for the evening and night so they would fight less until they sorted out their differences.
What else was funny was I could point my finger at the big one and she knew she was in trouble and she would back off and go back to her place. I just found out she will live 10 to 15 yrs. Wow She is already about 3 yrs. and the smaller one is around 6 mos. old.

Shirley49WV: I have a question, did Dana ever find her dog? I have thought many times about the night that she posted that she was going looking for it. And the people had moved.

dcj22: Thats hilarious. I've never seen a fish fight.
Fish fights can be pretty funny at times. I had some jump out of the tank before I had a lid on one, cause it was trying to get away from another. It jumped a long ways out from the tank.

How do you punish a fish? Grounding? Put it in the corner maybe?
