scotybabe: u just have to find the right med for u you dont have to take meds that dope u up or numb u to any feeling thats what some people think when u talk about medication that calms u

Usually more common side effect of anti-depressants. I think alot of times, people tend to lump all mental meds into a single group and assume all have the same effect.

There was a point a few years ago, when I seriously considered taking them, as the attacks were becoming very frequent & almost consuming my life. I was afraid to do just about anything. Then suddenly, they faded away. dunno

Now I get them occasionally.

scotybabe: How many people on this site suffer panic anxiety attacks?

When I was the only one responsible for my daughters well being, I had them. She never saw them until she was an adult. She at that point calmed me down. After she was an adult, and had her own life was I able to let the stress of raising a child alone go. I have not had them for years.

It's still 'normal' people time here.

I was a bit lucky that I didn't have alot of error parts with my doc'.
I hope you find something that works for you.

Yeah they do have bad side effects and the antidepressants I have been on was just mild one after seeing my daughter become suicidal and dealing with the horrible nightmares of another common antideppresant Effexor. I just took mine lexapro for a short timewink wine
