as a small island not use to the massive about of foreigners coming to this country and the change been so quick it may take time ... i also find that some ppl foreigners don't want to mix with us...

I am very interested in the irish culture .It's unique.
Irish r wonderfull , peacefull , respectable , have sence of humour and full of life .
My only issue is that always a starnger is a 2nd option when it comes to dating .
I agree many strangers don't want to mix with u but not all of them.
I would love to know the irish more !!!!!!

I don't know what the reason 4 this but may be coz it is very difficult 4 strangers to cope with the iriish culture !
May be it is more easy 4 irish lady to connect with a man from same kind !!!
I travelled around the globe and seen alot . It is always a credit if u r a stranger in many parts of the world but not here.
I know many foriegners r not a good standard but not all of them .
i know many of them r doctors and teachers and people who r doin good in the community.They pay the taxes and r also very well behaved and respectable .
Ireland is still not a multiethnic community like UK or the state yet but it will become so soon.
I have been to pubs and clubs in Ireland before and sometimes I am rejected before even I say a word ( so , Iam rejected just by the way I look , and my sight is not that bad !!!!!!)
It is very healthy to try something new and different .
In the other hand , I saw many irish men dating ladies from other ethincities .
Anyway , these r few ideas I jus want to share !!!!!

Well, I can't complain, I had been with an Irish girl for 2 years
.Online dating is not the way to go with, if you really looking for some sort of relation with Irish girls or girl in general, I experienced that women in general don't trust men easily and certainly trust level goes down more when it comes to trust a foreigner, so it is very hard to express yourself fully to a girl sitting other side of the chat window and also any girl look for 'spark', making long story short, u should really apprear as strong and good personality and any girl will be with ya, I have tried and tested this formula, it works surely.

I don't think it's necessarily a case of Irish women not being interested in foreign guys...well not always.
I think sometimes people assume that is the case and therefore don't give women a chance. I was out at a club a few months ago with a friend. 2 men asked if they could share our table and of course we said no problem. My friend and I got chatting with them and kept chatting with one when they other went to the bar. When the one at the bar came back he said he had found some of their own people so goodbye.
I have come across this sort of thing quite a lot. A lot of Irish women are only to happy to get to know someone better..regardless where they're from. We don't always get the same in return though.
The only thing that would put me off chatting with a foreign man is if he hasn't bothered to learn English..especially if he has lived here for a while. Or if he speaks in English to me but keeps interrupting and chatting/laughing etc in his own language with his friends. I admit that I feel they are being derogatory or at very least secretive.

I agree with u . that wat the guys did was unaccepltable .
BUT , my point is , I was expecting more understanding from a nation like the irish .
A nation famoused by the love of travel , famous of being peacefull .
A nation was under influence of others 4 hunderds of years .
Poor people from othe parts of the world look up 4 the irish .
I know that now Ireland is one of the most important supporter . of poor and underdeveloped countries.
BUT , socially inside ireland its differenent.

Many of them r polite , respectable and wit good personalities .
I think its the problem of different culture .

hi everyone, from my experience it might be more difficult to be in a relationship with someone from a different country. irish girls don't like foriegners. they call them strengers even if you try to be more irish then the irish themself. so my advice don't waste your time and money on irish girls
