Not at all! We all have different ambitions and dreams, your friends just happens to be getting married. I guess way back in the day a womans objective was marriage but sure those days are loooooong gone.

i say have fun and live a little, youll know when the time is right or not. Enjoy yourself, lifes too short, puttinbg pressure on doesnt help the cause. Have fun, I thought you girls were good at that

But to answer your question i am completely commit to myself hence the reason I will not be married because society says I have to... I enjoy my freedom and only having my daughter to answer too..

I dont think its weird at all. Marrige is a big big commitment for the parties involved. If you want to be live your life and unattached, there's not a darn thing wrong with that.
Sure i'm 38, I'm not even dating anyone, Just enjoying the many experiences of life. Everybodys an individual with thier own minds and decisions. If you want to get married do it, If you dont, dont. There's nothing wrong with going either way :)

Fair play to you!! I was a mother at 18 and my son is now 22, i have such a close relationship with him and at the end of the day, its our kids that really matter!! Btw also have a daughter of 19 and she hates kids..... Rekns she will nevr have em!!! Whereas my son wants haf a dozen!! Commit is such a big word, cept wen it comes to our kids, thats totaly difrent!! I did the whole marriage thing even though I didn't really want to. It was expected of me and I hadn't the guts to say NO!! I regretted it from day 1.

ive gotten to 41 without getting married cant see it happening now

Live your own life, don't get married just to please other people, get married only if YOU want to.
well for me, i've always wanted to get married some day. To be in a loving relationship with another. And i know i dont have to be married to do that, i just think there is something wonderful about marraige. I cant explain it properly, just that someday it's something i would like to experience.
But if you dont want to, then dont. It's not a question you need advice on. Just listen to what your heart says.
