when using im i check in contacts to see who it is thats trying to contact me before hand.
vey rarely use im,s wudnt know how 2 do it

Losty: The Filtering and Blocking only works with flowers and mails. All I can think of is for you to minimise the IM from the member you don't want to talk to; that way you don't have it in your face all the time.
Mmmm... when I blocked him I got a pop up telling me that he wouldn't be able to contact me from then on, and I clicked on 'OK'. Two minutes later... he's back!
It would be helpful if we were asked if we wanted to connect instead of having an IM window just open. JMO
yeahs it always been possible to have two IM going at the same time ...report him to CS maybe they can do something ...
